Delete your Reelpin account
You can permanently delete your Reelpin account and all data associated with it at any time. There is no fee, and you do not need to download the app to start the process.
1. How to request deletion
Send an email from the address registered to your Reelpin account to:
Include your Reelpin username (handle) and the email address you used to sign up so we can locate your account quickly. The button above pre-fills these for you.
2. What gets deleted
When we process your request, the following is permanently removed from our systems:
- Your account record (username, display name, bio, email).
- All playlists you created — public and private — and the reels inside them.
- All in-bio links you saved.
- All images you uploaded (avatar, playlist covers, reel thumbnails, custom logos, page background images).
- Your theme and customisation settings.

www.reelpin.app/<your-handle>stops serving and the URL becomes available for someone else to claim. - Your Firebase Authentication record (no further sign-in possible from your email/Google account).
3. What is retained, and for how long
A small set of records is kept after deletion for legal, financial, or fraud-prevention reasons:
- Subscription & transaction records — if you ever subscribed to Reelpin Pro, the proof-of-purchase metadata received from Apple App Store / Google Play (transaction ID, product ID, dates, amount) is retained for up to 7 years to meet tax and accounting obligations. This does NOT include your payment card details — those never reach us; the stores handle them entirely.
- Anonymised diagnostic logs — request timestamps and aggregated error counts may be retained for up to 12 months with personally-identifying fields removed.
- Abuse-prevention records — if your account was suspended for policy violations, a hashed identifier may be retained to prevent the same actor from re-registering.

5. Cancelling a Reelpin Pro subscription
Account deletion does not automatically cancel an active Reelpin Pro subscription. To stop billing, also cancel via the store:
- iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Reelpin Pro → Cancel.
- Android: Play Store app → Subscriptions → Reelpin Pro → Cancel.
6. Confirmation
Once your data has been fully removed, we send a confirmation email to the address that submitted the request. After that point we no longer hold any data about you (apart from the retention items listed in section 3).
